We're a long way off from automating automation installers and if we get there the automation will need to be installed. Sounds like a headache.

On the one hand, it's not a job requiring a lot of ingenuity. On the other, it is a physically difficult job. So, maybe?

I do not think a robot could fix or install an elevator because it takes a lot of work.

Already Schindler started elevator installation with robots in Dubai. Installation can do by robots but maintenance is difficult.
