AI and robotic systems are *right now* being used as dental assistants like yomi robotic system maybe search about it guys. AI will replace dental assistants IF the dental clinics bought yomi robotic system which actually cost a lot no like I actually mean it a lot. I think dental assistants wouldn't be sad about getting replaced by AI because dental assistants can be dentists and some of them are nurses depends on the education. AI will replace dental assistants but they will not replace dentists.

Job description

Perform limited clinical duties under the direction of a dentist. Clinical duties may include equipment preparation and sterilization, preparing patients for treatment, assisting the dentist during treatment, and providing patients with instructions for oral healthcare procedures. May perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.
